My name is Kristina Deak and I am the preschool master teacher. My primary role is to support the Creative Curriculum Teachers in implementing our curriculum and bringing authentic, developmentally appropriate learning experiences to the children enrolled in the Hackensack Public Preschool Creative Curriculum classrooms. 

I am a mom to 2 wonderful girls and we enjoy gardening, raising butterflies, scouting and hiking along with visiting themeparks :). My hobby is photography and I love capturing the joys of learning and childhood in our classrooms. In addition to having a P-3 and ESL certification, I have my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education. I taught in a high-quality preschool classroom for 12 years before coming to Hackensack and am very passionate about our curriculum.
