  • Welcome to my new classroom website!

In this day and age, the above quote has quite often been suffocated by those who insist on creating schools where all students are essentially the same or standardized.  We are constantly promoting policies that require us to compare and measure our students and children up against each other.  However, it is important that we see each and every being in this world as unique individuals who have unique qualities that they bring with them to the table.  It is important that we start taking the advice from the likes of Paulo Freire,  John Dewey, Maria Montessori, Rudolf Steiner, Sir Ken Robinson, and all those whose educational philosophies promote real, relevant, hands on and democratic education opportunities in our learning environments.  Let's re-think schools.  Let's re-think our learning environments.  Let's re-think life.
