What started as an ambitious dream to transform a patch of Hackensack High School campus has blossomed into something extraordinary.

On June 10, as clay plant markers caught the midday sun and wildflowers swayed in the breeze, Hackensack Public Schools officially unveiled its high school’s new rain garden—a vibrant fusion of environmental science, community partnership, and student creativity that promises to educate and inspire for generations to come.
