NJGPA State Testing Window

2024-2025 NJGPA

  • Students in the class of 2025 will take the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA) in grade 11. The assessment will be aligned to New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) for grade 10 ELA and NJSLS for Algebra I and Geometry. The assessment format will be familiar to students and educators, as it will be delivered on the same platform students use for the current New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA).

NJSLA State Testing Window

2024-2025 NJSLA

  • The New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) for English Language Arts and Mathematics measures the extent to which students are on track for being college and career reading in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.  Students in grades three through eleven take part in some aspect of the assessment. The assessment generally takes place in the spring.
  • NJSLA testing will take place between April 28, 2025 and May 23, 2025. The specific dates for testing will be available in March 2025.

2024-2025 ACCESS for ELL's

  • ACCESS for ELLs (ACCESS) is an assessment to determine English language proficiency.  ACCESS is taken annually by English learners in kindergarten through grade 12 in New Jersey.
