    GRADE DETERMINATION

                HOMEWORK:                        10% of final grade

    CLASS PARTICIPATION:   30% OF FINAL GRADE

    …You must come to class prepared everyday (pen, pencil, and notebook)

    …You may lose points for lateness, unwaived absence, discipline, sleeping in class, doing other classes homework in class, and/or behavior problems.

    TESTS / QUIZZES:             30% of your final grade

                                                    …All averaged together

    …If you are absent you must make up the work ASAP, so it is your responsibility to speak to me to set up a convenient time.

     PROJECTS:                             30% of your final grade

    …Specific guidelines/instructions are followed with all   parts submitted on time


    ATTENDANCE

    ABSENCE:                  You are still responsible for all the work and assignments covered during your absence.  When you return to school, you may turn in your work or see me to arrange a schedule for completing your work.  Failure to do so may result in a zero and no other chance for make-up.  Remember 5 unwaived absences may result in no credit.



    LATENESS:               Class will begin with the late bell.  It is expected that you will be ready to participate at that time.  Detention for lateness is held period 1 or period 10 within the week of the lateness.  Failure to make up detention will result in a write up to the administrators. Remember 5 lates is equivalent to 1 unwaived absence.

     


             
    CLASS CUTS:            Two cuts in Health class may result in no credit.

                                                      



    GUIDANCE PASSES:      Please bring your pass to class for my signature before reporting to guidance.  If your appointment is in the class before this and it runs into this period, please notify me and I will not initiate the cut process.



    EXTRA CREDIT:       

                                        You must request extra credit, or come before school period 1 or after school period 10 to meet with me for extra help. Do not wait for the last minute.
