All Hackensack Public Schools have achieved Sustainable Jersey for Schools Bronze-level Certification, with Hackensack High School, Hackensack Middle School, Fairmount School and Jackson Avenue among 37 statewide to also achieve Digital Schools Star Recognition.

The Hackensack Board of Education commits to Anti-Racism and Cultural Proficiency in Hackensack Public Schools
On Monday, June 15, 2020 the Hackensack Board of Education passed a resolution at its regularly scheduled meeting taking a stand against "racism and discrimination" and committing to take "specific steps to address bias and increase coltural profiiciency among our school community."
Hackensack Public Schools are Future Ready Certified!
We are proud to announce that both Hackensack High School and Hackensack Middle School are officially SILVER-tier "Future Ready" certified and Fairmount School is officially Bronze-tier certified by the Future Ready Schools New Jersey (FRS-NJ) school certification program, a joint initiative between the New Jersey Department of Education, New Jersey Institute of Technology and New Jersey School Boards Association.
