Strategy: Webbing/Cluster:
Don't write the sentence -- write the question. Higher order questions evoke categories of response. Students understand what they know, what they do not know, what they want to know, what they need to know, and how they know... Must generate questions to help them think. Develop ideas from questions via research.
Two questions must be "why" and "how." Students will ask questions that they think no one would ask. Make it a competition. Turn "how" and "why" questions into research paper. Make it an oral presentation so kids know their audience.
