    Chapter 10: An Introduction to Calculus:  Limits, Derivatives, and Integrals 


    Course Outcomes:

    By the end of the course you will be able to:

    • Solve equations both graphically and algebraically
    • Define, compare and use polynomial functions to solve problems.
    • Describe and graph conic sections 
    • Use exponential and logarithmic functions to solve real-life problems.
    • Describe, graph, and interpret rational functions
    • Describe and graph Vectors, Parametric Equations, & Polar Equations
    • Understand trigonometry using both real and complex numbers
    • Describe a function using limits and find the derivative and tangent line at a point
