Immigration to the U.S. has a long and rich history.  Complete one of the two assignments:

- Interview a family member who has immigrated to the U.S. about how they were treated when he/she first arrived to the country.  Also ask how they felt adjusting to living in a new country.

- Compare how immigrants who recently arrived in the U.S. are treated in today's society with how people who immigrated to the U.S. fifty years ago were treated in society.  Have there been any changes? If so, how?
