Extended School Year (ESY) program's Seamless Summer Meal Option

The Seamless Summer meal service will no longer be offered through the Hackensack Public Schools
ESY program, as the Hackensack Recreation Department will be facilitating meal service.
This change ensures that meals will continue to be available during the summer through the Recreation
Department's program. We thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to
a successful ESY program this summer.

HACKENSACK BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY

The Hackensack Board of Education is accepting applications for
two (2) open board member seats. As the districts legislative
branch, the board establishes official school policies within legal
limits. Appointed terms will run until the Board re-organizes on
January 6, 2027. The seats will be placed on the ballot at the
annual election on November 3, 2026.
