Preschool pre-registration will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 (see schedule below). This year's registration will include three (3) year olds for a limited program projected to start in January 2024.
Children who will be:
- 4 years old by October 1, 2023: 9:00 AM - 11:30 PM.
- 3 years old by October 1, 2023: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM.
You will need to call (201) 646-1062 on that date to secure your initial registration appointment. You will be asked to provide the parent/guardian name and phone number, and the preschool child’s name and birth date.
Only Hackensack residents are eligible for tuition-free preschool in Hackensack. Once this call is complete, you will receive a confirmation number and an appointment time where you will complete your registration in person.This pre-registration phone call will hold your spot until your appointment is complete and all necessary documents are received. There is no need to line up in person for registration. All necessary registration documents can be accessed using the links on the left.
