PRIDE Flag Rasing Ceremony
The Hackensack Board of Education approved a Pride-Inclusive Flag resolution at its October 2022 meeting. As such, on November 3, 2022 we held a Pride Inclusive Flag raising ceremony at the Board of Education Office. Hackensack Public Schools is proud to be one of the first districts in New Jersey to fly the Pride Inclusive Flag. The Pride Inclusive Flag will fly all year long in conjunction with the American Flag on an existing flag pole at the Hackensack Board of Education Office in support of our LGBTQ+ community.
