FAQ's for Hackensack's Preschool Program

  • If my child is currently enrolled in PK-3 , do I have to register for PK-4?

    Posted by:

No. Since your children are enrolled in a current Hackensack 3-year-old class, you DO NOT need to re-register for a 4-year-old class for the 2024-2025 school year. Currently, enrolled families will not have to re-register for Pre-K 4. However, you will have to submit updated medical forms and verify their residency.

Students currently enrolled at Bright Adventures for PK-3 will be automatically enrolled in a PK-4 year old class. Families will rank their preference for PK-4 placement (district elementary school, Early Childhood Development Center, or a Private Provider class) and the district will place students. Priority will be given to siblings, but first choice placements are not guaranteed as spots are limited.
