This course is designed to present the student with a working knowledge of photography as a virtual communication medium. Students will gain an understanding of the technical and creative aspects of digital photography as well as digital manippulation. Course content includes use of SLR camera, lighting and exposure control, photo editing and manipulation with state of the art software. Students will integrate an understanding of elements and principles of design in order to demonstrate technical skill, and creative/aesthetic understanding of concepts and judgment.
