Ms. Vallese - Language Arts/ Read 180/ System 44

Dear Parents,

My classes this year will focus on reading/ language arts through a variety of resources. Language Arts classes will be using either the Journeys program (5th grade) or a variety of core novels (6th grade), as well as nonfiction texts, articles,etc. The Read 180/ System 44 classes will be working on improving specific reading skills and raising your child's reading level. Regardless, I truly look forward to working with my students! I have confidence that each child will make great gains, and most importantly, learn to believe that they can succeed.

Please check out the rest of the site. Under My Resources, you will find the Incoming Summer Reading Project for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade. There are also some fun links to enhance learning. You can find Homework by either clicking on the My Homework icon OR the My Calendar icon. In some ways, the Calendar may be a clearer way to see the homework, but of course, that's up to you! If you have any problems, please let me know!!
