Hello, everyone!
Here is the link to the document in which you can find all of the items that you need to purchase for your/ your child's costume. Again, nothing expensive, as the outfit may be modified/altered (sewing, glue, cutting, etc)
The only items that you need to purchase are the items under "WHAT STUDENT BUYS". Please do NOT purchase anything else without first emailing me!

You will find the rehearsal calendar attached below. Copies were distributed on Monday, 2/29 and Tuesday, 3/1. Please print out an extra copy for yourself.
It's CRUNCH TIME! Please keep that in mind, as attendance for rehearsals become more important. Please be diligent in making alternate arrangements for other activities. We go on in 35 days!!!!!!

Dear Parents/Guardians--
Due to a scheduling conflict, there will be a slight change to the current rehearsal schedule. Updated calendars for February-April will be provided by Monday, 1/25.
THERE WILL BE NO REHEARSAL ON TUESDAY, 2/26! IT WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR ANOTHER DAY OF THE WEEK.

There is an UPDATED permission slip for late entry rehearsals that (for the safety of our children) must be distributed, signed, and returned before the next late rehearsal date (1/23).

Hello, all!
Please don't forget the BRIEF meeting after school.
You will be given the schedule of rehearsals, a link to the music to listen to over break, and the cast list will be posted at this time.
If your name is highlighted, then you are given a speaking role and will also need to pick up your script to study over holiday break! Please come to room 128 during AM or PM homeroom--NOT the auditorium-- to pick up your packet of information!
Even if you were not asked to callbacks or weren't given a speaking role, YOU ARE STILL A MEMBER OF THE CAST, AND NEED TO PICK UP A REHEARSAL SCHEDULE!

This meeting is for ALL PARENTS whose children are participating in the Drama Club's spring production of Alice in Wonderland, Jr.Important information will be discussed. I will keep it as short as possible, I promise!

Everyone on this list should expect to be at callbacks until 6.

Remember: CALLBACKS WILL BE THURSDAY 12/17 AT 3:05PM! BRING SOMETHING TO EAT!
Please pick up a Callback script after school in room 129 on Monday to familiarize yourself with ALL ROLES. DO NOT REHEARSE JUST ONE ROLE! You will need to be prepared to read ALL parts! If you would like to audition for a specific role, you can download a script from the below link to better prepare yourself. Click on Disney's Alice In Wonderland Jr. in the drop down box and download/print your own copy.
PLEASE NOTE: AUDITIONING FOR A PARTICULAR ROLE DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL GET THAT ROLE! You MAY be cast for another role!
Practice your singing, as you will be asked to sing some scales. (EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT AUDITIONING FOR A SINGING ROLE)

To familiarize yourself with the music of the show, I've attached a YouTube link for ALL of the musical numbers. You need to be able to sing songs in these specific keys to audition for particular roles! (ex: to audition for the role of Alice, you must be able to sing Very Good Advice with the YouTube video of the same name)

This year's production of Alice In Wonderland, Jr. will hold auditions on Wednesday, 12/9 in the auditorium. Please have your application filled out and returned at that time. There is also a Remind application link associated with the drama club. This will allow text message or email reminders to go to you and your child regarding important information regarding this production.
