    Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

I am writing to officially introduce myself, and my paraprofessional, Mrs. Mirta Bellefemini to you as the 7th & 8th grade Multiple Disabilities Teaching Team at Hackensack Middle School.  First and foremost, it is my responsibility to help your child get the best possible education.  A good education includes not only learning to read, write, and do math, but also learning good social skills.  This means, among other things, learning how to get along with other children, making good choices, controlling anger, accepting responsibility, and being aware of strengths and weaknesses.

The Multiple Disabilities program is designed to instill personal and academic growth and success within the students who exist in the program.   We encourage taking academic risks, accepting challenges, and academic self-confidence throughout the school year. Parents, please note that it is important to remember that teachers and parents working together provide a winning combination for all children.  All children deserve to be winners.  Together, we can help your child realize this goal!

If I could be of any assistance to you throughout the year, please contact me via email: s.robinson4@hackensackschools.org.  Also, please do not forget to log onto my classroom website for up-to-date information throughout the school year:http://www.hackensackschools.org/webpages/srobinson/index.cfm
