Art Shows

Annually we have two or three art shows.  March is Youth Art Month (YAM) so displays will begin going up in mid to late February. 

Our largest district wide art show is the annual exhibit at The Shops at Riverside right here in Hackensack.  The location in the mall varies from year to year but we are usually located on the second floor above Tiffany's by Bloomingdales.  It's a huge show and well over a hundred students district wide participate.  The artwork remains on display for the public generally from late February until late March or early April. 

All students asked to participate will have letters sent home notifying parents and requesting an RSVP for a scheduled reception.

The final show is for 7th and 8th grade students only.  The Bergen County Teen Arts Festival is either in late May or early June.  It is a complete "arts" festival.  Not only is there a visual arts display and critque but dramatic performances, television and video, music, chorus, creative writing and dance.  It is a very exciting day spend on the Bergen Community College campus in Paramus.  Live music is playing all day and student attend and participate in any activities that interest them.  The only students that attend the Teen Arts Festival are those that are in good academic standing and are found to be responsible and trustworthy.  It is a fun filled day that all participant enjoy whether adult or child.
