Project Policy
-
Projects are assigned in math class throughout the course of the year. It is the students responsibility to make sure that all projects are handed in on time and that projects are completed in a thoughtful, careful and neat manner that reflects the knowledge that the student has gained throughout the unit of study.
Projects are assigned 2 to 4 weeks before a due date, therefore, it is the student's responsibility to make sure that projects are handed in on the date that they are due.
Projects cannot be worked on in class OR during homeroom on the date the project is due. This includes, but is not limited to, printing, pasting, coloring, and/or modifying in any way.
Work should be ready to hand in when you enter school in the morning even if you do not have my class until after lunch.
Projects should be dropped off in my class before homeroom or during homeroom. I will usually assign 1 or 2 students to collect projects during homeroom so that they can be brought to my classroom.
If you do not hand in your project on the date in which it was due (and you were present in school at that time) your grade will drop 10 points or one letter grade for handing it in late.
