Dear Parents and Guardians,Welcome to Grade Five Social Studies! I am enormously pleased about starting another school year and to have your child in my class. Social Studies is exciting and challenging. With your help, we can be partners in your child’s learning and provide for a very successful year.
On this website you will find information that describes the goals, materials, requirements, policies, grading, procedures, and practices for Social Studies. I will go over this information with my students and post it in our classroom. Please take a moment to look over this information and discuss it with your child.
I promise to do my best to keep you informed of your child’s progress, as I feel that close communication between home and school is of utmost importance in education today. Therefore, I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have.
